Sculptural fountain

 

„Dune Pine”

Short description: created as interesting stylization for Ventspils on the topic of the sea, dunes and city itself.

The project realization included complicated water and light combinations uniting variety of the effects created by water with the light body algorithm.

The base of the fountain is a stylization of a tree made of water nozzles with various types of water flows combining the tree trunk with the ground.

 

Water composition: made with help of three water effects:

  • Waterfall effect - 16 water nozzles with the most intensive water flow;
  • Mist effect - 24 special water nozzles;
  • Rain effect- 270 small water nozzles.

Light composition: created by 12 light objects, operating based on the algorithm and ensuring the visual attraction not only 24 hours a day but also the entire year, including the cold period when the water supply is disconnected.

 

Sculptural fountain „Knowledge Tree”

Short description: the fountain consists of five parts: water bearing mechanism, water supply system, decorative part of trunk, decorative part of branches and lighting.

Water supply scheme: Water is supplied through water collectors from the basic vessel in the height of 3 m. From there with special nozzle mechanisms it flows down. Nozzle mechanisms create periodical ring around the vestibule concrete pillar. The diameter of rings are 1.25m, the perimeter of the ring is 4m.

Pumps: water supply is ensured by two pumps Nautilus 9000.

Trunk: vestibule concrete construction pillar, finished with polished steel pipes (diameter: 30mm).

Water basin dimensions: 2x2 m, depth – 0.5 m.

Branch body: consists of 7 groups. Branch groups are made of stainless steel bars and pipes (diameter: 6-12 mm). External branch body looks like small branches forming dimensional stainless steel grid. Grid fastening is going through suspended ceilings up to the branches and holds them.

Sculptural fountain „Sail boat”

(Krāslava, 18. novembra laukums)



Short description: The fountain is the architectonic copy of the Krāslava coat of arms - sail boat with five oars. Each of these oars symbolize one of the nationalities of residents, that since long time reside in the territory of Krāslava – Latvians, Russians, Belarusians, Jewish and Polish.

Lighting: during the dark time of the day fountain is lighted with 13 headlights: Seliger Skylight Classic Power (7 pcs.) and Oase Lunaqua (6 pcs.).

Pump: for water supply of the sculpture the pump Calpeda NM4 is used.

Material: stainless steel, stone.

Height: 2.5 m.
